You may have noticed Domino's Pizza have been advertising on a number of blogs lately. They have now taken this campaign to new heights, according to the Downing Street website they have achieved a major advertising coup by placing their product at the heart of the Berlin Wall celebrations.
Over 1,000 giant Domino's pizzas have been erected along a section of the strip that once divided East and West Germany. They will be toppled to symbolise the fall of communist powers across Eastern Europe in 1989. They will then be eaten by the assembled dignitaries and guests in celebration of the rise of capitalist culture in the east. However, the plan has not pleased everyone with anti-EU campaigners pointing out that had they waited until tomorrow they could have done it for half the cost by taking advantage of Domino's Two for Tuesday offer.
Or perhaps the illiterates at Number10.gov.uk meant DOMINOES?? No doubt they will correct their spelling during the day, so here is a screenshot where they claim the focus will be on "Over 1,000 giant dominos".
